What is the Endowment Fund?

The Endownment Fund (the Fund) is a means to allow the present generation to have a part in the future mission and ministry of Menchville Baptist Church that will be carried on by future generations. By providing funding, it will enable those coming after us to continue using our gifts for ministries that may otherwise be impossible. The Fund will provide the opportunity for giving beyond one's life. Inherent in the concept of an endowment is permanency of the gift principle with only earnings being available for expenditure. Therefore, the principal of the Fund is restricted and may not be expended. Only earnings from the Fund will be disbursed.
